Region of Peel - Peel Children’s Safety Village, in partnership with Peel Regional Police, is proud to host the 27th Annual Elmer Safety Recognition Awards.
Nominations are now being accepted. Each child in Peel Region, including Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, from junior kindergarten through to grade eighteligible for an award. We are seeking children who, in the past year, showed heroic behaviour, performed extraordinary acts of citizenship, assisted their classmates, parents, friends or performed at a level beyond expectation.
As many as ten children will receive an award during the ceremony, which is being held virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021. All winners will receive a trophy and a certificate from Peel Regional Police.
The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, April 27, 2021. If you know of a deserving child you wish to nominate, please contact Christie Hallett at (905) 453-2121, ext. 4071, or by email [email protected]. Nomination forms can also be found on our website at www.peelpolice.ca/safetyvillage .
