Seven Arrested in a Mississauga Kidnapping

Region of Peel (May 26, 2021)– Investigators from the 21 Division, Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested seven individuals involved in a kidnapping incident in the City of Mississauga.

On Saturday, April 10, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m., police were contacted regarding an adult male kidnapped in Mississauga. A complex 14-hour investigation led to the victim being located on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., in the area of Airport Road and Morning Star Drive with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

As a result, police have arrested and charged seven individuals for Kidnapping, Assault cause Bodily Harm, Aggravated Assault, and Assault with a Weapon.

Gurvinder Dhillon 34-years-old from Brampton

Maninderjit Dhindsa 42-years-old from Brampton

Harpal Dhillon 36-years-old from Brampton

Lakhvir Singh 23-years-old from Mississauga

Jaspuneet Bajwa 29-years-old from Mississauga

Kalib Rahi 34-years-old from Brampton

Ramanpreet Singh 22-years-old, of no fixed address

All were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
