BRAMPTON AUTO INSURANCE CAMPAIGN COMMENCES

BRAMPTON, ON- The City of Brampton has commenced its 'Fair Deal for Brampton Auto Insurance' campaign, which includes an online petition available for all Brampton residents to fill out. The petition will be used to advocate to the provincial government for better insurance rates for Brampton's drivers. Upon filling out the petition, a letter will also be sent simultaneously to the resident’s local MPP on their behalf.

The launch of the virtual campaign follows Regional Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon’s motion moved at the February 17th City Council meeting, which was passed unanimously. “Brampton has been neglected and overlooked for far too long. Our residents pay insurance rates that are approximately 123% higher than the provincial average and have faced postal code discrimination for years,” said Councillor Dhillon. “The time has come for the provincial government to give Brampton its fair deal and reduce auto insurance rates for our drivers.” “Bramptonians must fight for their rights.
